his drawing was inspired by the story of Orestes and Pylades, whose extraordinary devotion to one another endures through exile, grief and danger. I was drawn to the idea of a bond tested by circumstances that could easily have broken it, and to Pylades' continued willingness to stand beside Orestes through everything he faces.
 
The Lovers represents connection, commitment and the choices we make through love. Their embrace reflects a relationship built on trust and the decision to continue choosing one another, even through uncertainty and hardship.
